I too agree costs in the red centre are expensive. Lucky to have visited Ayers Rock, Olgas, Chambers Pillar, Rainbow Valley when there were less restrictions … if you want visitors you have to make it more affordable as it costs money just to get to the centre whether you drive or fly … simply cheaper to go to the eastern states.

Congrats to Alfred that he made it again to the Center. Sorry that I could not join him this time but I am sure to come back as soon as the kids are grown up. And thanks to Erwin and ASN to update me regularly what´s going on out there, even though I am living on the opposite side of the globe.

Your article’s comments are exactly on the money. We are far too expensive for the average traveller. Our recovery is to be found in the affordability region. Diesel at Ayers Rock Resort is 2.33/L currently and has been for some time.
