Yeh, we will see just how well our AA1 status lasts when Moodys finds out the information fed to them by our previous idiotic Government, as everything with them, was a bit of fluff, blatant propaganda. Moodys’ enthusiasm for the Territory has largely been based on the giant gas plant in Darwin. Question is how does a struggling economy afford the infrastructure necessary to support a plant of this size, or perhaps more importantly for us in the Centre, after fulfilling the locked in contracts.
What’s going to be left for the rest of us? We finally have some leverage in this end of the Territory and what’s left? I hope its a rainy day in hell before Territorians are ever dumb enough too elect another Labor Government.
And I love Delia’s cap on public service growth! Exactly when was it going to kick in, I wonder??
