Comment on National Aboriginal Art Gallery: Anzac Oval off the table by Yvonne Driscoll.

South of the Gap would be a perfect location as everyone who comes to Alice will see it on the way in and it will encourage more people to stay in Alice. Concentrate on how the CBD can be a safer place.

National Aboriginal Art Gallery: Anzac Oval off the table
I actually want everyone in Alice Springs to be involved in the decision making. Not just the rate payers. I am so pleased that the Indigenous people are going to be involved in the consultation process. It is an Indigenous Art Gallery after all. South of the Gap would be a perfect location.

No youth detention facilities in residential areas: MLAs
They need to be detailed in a secure area and they also need counseling and lots of programs to help them work through their problems.
You can’t put the facility in a residential area. Come on government, get some reality checks done.

Indigenous Affairs Minister for fresh approach on gallery
Great idea councillors. Help us keep our oval. Thanks.

Anzac Oval will be site for gallery: Gunner
M Gunner, the Gallery WILL NOT be built on the Anzac site because many people in Alice Springs will NOT LET you.
Listen to us and talk to the Furbers, the Liddels and the Stuarts. Leave The Anzac site ALONE.

Aboriginal gallery is bound to have a stone wall
Leave Anzac Oval alone and listen to our community. There is a lot of opposition to the art gallery being built on the Anzac site.
Consult with the Furbers, the Littles and the Stuarts and show respect to the Indigenous people. After all is it an Indigenous art gallery. Mr Gunner, you need to show some respect.

NT Govt persists with push for Anzac Oval ownership
Your government is bullying the people in Alice Springs. We will not be bullied.
It’s time you listened to the Indigenous people who already have plans for the Cultural Centre and Art Gallery.
Leave Anzac oval and the school alone.
