I would be interested to know what the benefits of being a “territory” (apart from fireworks) rather than a “state” are, and also why does the Federal Government think it’s better to keep us a territory rather than drag us into statehood?

It seems obvious that this group were used to push additional protesting at the same time.
I would be interested in knowing how many of these people / kids practice what they preach and do things at their own homes to limit their effect on the climate?
When they go home turn the split system on, fire up their computer games, iPads and munch on lollies with plastic wrappers lying around.
Good on them for protesting their beliefs. I only hope they were their beliefs and not those of others.

So the answer is get them good role models, any way possible.

The Commonwealth should be helping by offering tax incentives for people who live in the NT. It is not a large population so they wouldn’t be risk much money offering something.

If only there were unemployed people around who could perform handyman duties (or be training in them) as required, with Housing picking up the tab.
Or just keep it as normal and pay $1000 every time there is a leaking tap for a tradie to drive out there and fix it.
Sometimes simple suggestions are the best.
