“There seems to be no direction about where the organisation is going to go in the future,” says Chief Minister Adam Giles (pictured) about Desert Knowledge Australia.

He says he will be releasing a report into the organisation today or tomorrow and would not comment further.

“It’s clear some things have to change in Desert Knowledge,” he says.

“There is a clear misunderstanding of what [its] role and function are. People don’t have a clear understanding of what has been achieved to date.”

Mr Giles also said he had not read the interview with PUP leader Alison Anderson in the Alice Springs News Online but in any event, he’s not interested in commenting on anything she may have had to say.

  1. Mr Giles needs to consider publicly stated views of all elected members, they represent significant numbers, perhaps a majority view, of their respective electorates.
Useful shall be for Mr Giles to explain why he disagrees with such presented views.
We all, particularly politicians, need recall the moral measure of any social group, particularly its leaders, is how they treat their enemies, their criminal, their insane, and their needy.
