Is that another white elephant I see in the distance? …

Comment on 8 storeys, 600 car parks, builder with Alice roots: Melanka by Old Alice Boy.

Is that another white elephant I see in the distance? The town needs tourists to create employment, get it buzzing again, just like the days when Todd Street was a street and people thronged there.
Then the big retailers came to town and and people no longer went to Todd Street and it became a ghost town.

Quote: “We had asked how many students had obtained certificates in the past five years, how many students had obtained full-time work (a year or more); in what fields; and we requested a split-up into private enterprise, government and NGO employment.” Unquote.
My guess – zero, zero and zero.

Call to eat local beef, camel penises for China
Indonesia and Malaysia and the Middle East are screaming out for dressed camel meat (and milk).
