The annual Easter Australian rules carnival needs a new direction if its to go any further, especially in the town of Alice Springs.
The disruption to the town’s services and the ability for the town’s services to cope and function effectively around carnival time is becoming one big negative!
Alice Springs does not need a carnival that attracts all types of social disharmony that it is currently attracting.
The AFLCA has an obligation to the community and communities to promote the game for the healthy future for all to enjoy.
It also has an obligation to be respectful and mindful to not let the carnival destroy Alice Springs assets and spirit.
    Time for it to go!
