Comment on What Ilparpa farm area residents are facing by Julia.

I was nearly killed yesterday driving west at 3.30pm on Ilparpa Road as the NT Link road train carrying two demountables took up the east bound lane and half the west bound lane whilst approaching the Temple Bar corner.
Lucky I was driving well within the speed limit, however, I can’t see around corners to know that a road train marked “oversize” is taking up half my lane.
Lines marked on the road at this point are the Double white lines with an unbroken (continuous) line closer to you – you cannot overtake across these lines.
If a road train is unable to get out of its driveway without crossing the lines on the road to ensure safety, then where is the safety?
