Comment on Heat rises on cooling plan by Kathy.

The trees that are already in the town area are not looked after and the leaves, bird droppings and mess left on the paths, road and gutters is laying everywhere and not cleaned up.
Even the square around the trees that were rubber filled, outside the theatre and along the mall are traps for tripping walkers along the mall.
You have to take care of the trees, streets and paths to make a place look pleasant and shady for people.

Four weeks to comment on fracking chaos
Why is it that the government and the businesses that want to make money now and not think of the future, feel that living in the Territory is only to exploit the resources?
If we want people to live in the Territory, then they need access to drinking water as we have been so lucky to have.
If fracking comes in and human nature as it is, an accident happens, we then cannot stop the cracks in the basin from fracking, where the water gets stored by mother nature over the years, and so water will be leaking out and no longer [will we have] a storage basin for the water from the earth.

See the Red Centre without setting foot in Alice Springs
You can feel the change in The Alice already. The spirit is going out of the Centre.
People are sick and tired of the infighting between Alice and Darwin with Gunner making crazy decisions and not in the best interest of Territorians country wide.
The problems in the Alice are being ignored and Alice is suffering enough with out the flights bypassing our town.

The evasive closing gap: Focus must be on kids, says Morrison
Let’s all be Australian and Indigenous, for those of us born here in Australia who a also indigenous by the dictionary,
Treat all Australians as equal, not separating us, i.e. indigenous person encouraged to apply, indigenous cricket team, etc.
Seperate schools for Aboriginal children in town. If that is not discrimination, what is?

Another notch putting The Rock ahead of Alice
With the tourism infrastructure focused on Darwin and Yulara these last five years, Alice Springs in the next 10 years is becoming like it was in the 70s and 80s, a public service for Aboriginal services and public servants.
Gone is the growth of this town of new private businesses starting up.
The government is hell bent on being the good guy and providing money, that they need to borrow, to buy votes for the long term co-operations that are going up here in Alice and Yulara.
Making the government look good, spending money on Aboriginal people, but the money is not going to the people who need it.

Anzac Oval will be site for gallery: Gunner
Seems neither side is listening to the other or the rate payers of Alice Springs. Yes, it is sides, the Berrimah Line is defiantly still up and ignored by northern folks when there is a reason to.
