Comment on Big crowd at local School Strike 4 Climate Action by Evelyne Roullet.

Among those 200 people protesting, how many have protested or will protest against the destruction of trees at Anzac Hill High School? It is less glamorous but more meaningful to protect our environment than to join world’s movements.

Young people should be praised for expressing and demonstrating their strong beliefs.
But how many in this protest have left their mobile phones behind? Are they willing to give up their computers, games console, walk or ride a bike to school?
Have cold showers, open windows instead of starting the aircon? We have to make a lot of sacrifices if we really want to slow down the climate change.

I have two questions:
• How much this committee will cost us, as I do not think that Dale will not get an extra allowance for her new portfolio and that the committee members do it pro bono.
• Will the government listen to the decisions and findings or ignore the results like for the guidance from the National Reference Group for the art gallery?

Country Liberal Party: custodians ignored on gallery
@ Surprised: A moot point can be either an issue open for debate, or a matter of no practical value or importance because it’s hypothetical. Therefore it is not a mute point when you said: “He who pays, makes the rules. Like it or lump it.” Your comment is opened to debate
• Who is “he”? In my opinion “he” is the people of this country paying taxes and a lot of Aborigines pay taxes.
• This article is about “the custodians being ignored”.
• It is their art their culture and yet all the discussions and debates are based on the “invaders” making money from something of which they have no knowledge and for which they have no respect.
Let them decided what they want.

CLP would build gallery at Desert Park, not Anzac precinct
Alex the whole performance of Gunner’s government is a major political scandal.
The governor general should had sacked him longtime ago (Whitlam was dismissed for less than that).
Could some one from the party explain in details here for all to see what Gunner has achieved in his time on power? It is the right of the public and the voters.

Gunner again cites COVID for his failing to answer questions
All politicians during interviews, especially before elections, should do it hooked up to a lie detector (polygraph).
They are not 100% accurate but better than nothing.
