Zachary Rolfe 'Soldier Policeman Hero'

Zachary Rolfe, who fatally shot Kumanjayi Walker in 2019, is described as a “Soldier Policeman Hero” on a website promoting guest speakers, offering his services for between $5001 and 10,000.

Mr Rolfe was found not guilty of murder in the Supreme Court. The finding of the coronial inquest is yet to be published, delayed to next month by the death in Alice Springs of Kumanjayi White.

The new role of Mr Rolfe was disclosed by Frank Baarda, Yuendumu-based book author and publisher of the "Musical Dispatch from the Front".

The online pitch claims Mr Rolfe's military service prior to becoming an NT police officer was "marked by resilience and strategic acumen, took him to the challenging terrains of Afghanistan.

"In his first week [as a police officer] he performed a daring rescue of two tourists, earning the Australian Bravery Medal.

"Today, Zach applies his extensive skills in a new arena as a private investigator.
"His first-hand experience with workplace persecution, media misrepresentation, and organisational betrayal enriches his talks, equipping audiences with strategies to foster healthier workplace cultures and resilience against institutional challenges.

"Zach has consistently shown his ability to make tough decisions in high-pressure situations where lives depend on it."
