Despite clear leads, no-one was punished for making this mess
Walking my dog on the old South road just through the first grid and along the old Ghan track and out along the new Ghan track several times a week I see the absolute disrespect for the land.
Rubbish dumping in both areas is off the chart.
What is wrong with these people that they choose to skulk in at dusk or night and push the garbage bags old couches and everything else that requires a small dump fee out of the trailer?

Does cramming seventy units, retail space and a pool into the two small blocks pictured make sense?
Across the road is the town eyesore. Oh that’s right a couple of sacred trees trumps development or does it?
There must be more to the story. You can bet it’s about bottom line as it always is.
South Terrace and Gap Road are already under traffic stress.
Add Alice Star units currently under construction on just three old Alice household blocks and the seventy five units for the bowling club site on South Terrace and we are creating a traffic and infrastructure nightmare for the future.


Wards for Alice council, including one for town camps?
I am a strong supporter of wards. How nice to have an alderman as a first go to for street by street issues.
The generic group we have now are somewhat impotent when it comes to on the ground residents issues. Make them earn their allowance or move on.
